Learn how to play Ever Expanding Meditations with Crystal Singing Bowls. Held at the Sound Journey Store in Beamsville, this is a transformative one-day, 8-hour immersive workshop dedicated to the art and practice of crystal singing bowls. 

We will provide all the singing bowls and tools for you to use. However, if you own bowls, you are welcome to bring them along.

Throughout the day, you’ll have access to a diverse selection of high-quality crystal singing bowls, allowing you to explore their unique tones, vibrations, and resonances. If you already own your own bowls, we warmly encourage you to bring them and deepen your connection with your personal instruments.

As a participant, you will be invited into a community space that encourages mindfulness, exploration, and personal growth. Expect to leave with a sense of inner stillness, increased confidence in your sound practice, and tools you can continue to use for personal or professional wellness work.

Whether you're seeking to add sound healing to your wellness toolkit or are simply curious about this beautiful practice, this course offers a rich introduction and an inspiring deep dive into the world of crystal singing bowls.

All materials provided. No musical background required.

Course Objectives

Led by an experienced sound healer, this workshop will guide you through:

• • Foundational Techniques – Learn the correct posture, hand positions, and striking/playing methods to produce rich, sustained tones and gentle harmonics.
  • Intention and Intuition – Discover how to attune to your intuition and set meaningful intentions to enhance the healing impact of your sound sessions.
  • Meditation & Breathwork Integration – Combine bowl playing with simple breathing practices and guided meditations to create holistic, grounding experiences.
  • Creating a Sound Journey – Practice crafting a full sound meditation session, integrating rhythm, flow, and emotional depth.

Denise Blaney

With a lifetime immersed in music, I hold a university degree in Theory, Composition, and Music History, and bring over 30 years of experience teaching music in elementary schools. My journey took an exciting turn when I discovered crystal singing bowls, which led me to explore the world of Sound Practitioners. After hundreds of hours of training with leading experts and over 1,000 hours of research, I am dedicated to providing education that cuts through marketing hype, myths, and misinformation. My teaching approach makes complex concepts accessible and enjoyable for non-musicians. Whether you need guidance in selecting the perfect instruments or finding the right sounds for your needs, I’m here to help.
